The Golden Gate Cymbidium Society is based in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California, and primarily serves East Bay cymbidium orchid hobbbyists.
The Society's objectives and purposes are to:
* engage in the promotion of Cymbidium culture extending the knowledge, production and appreciation of Cymbidium orchids
* obtain and circulate information relating to Cymbidiums
* encourage participation in orchid shows and displays
* meet and simply talk about Cymbidiums.
Membership is available to everyone who share a sincere interest in cymbidiums and other cool-growing orchids, and wishes to actively participate in the activities of the organization.
